Parliamentarians joined senior officials from various sectors of the Liberian maritime sector in a five-day national workshop and seminar in the capital Monrovia (9-13 November) to address a raft of maritime related issues. IMO is supporting the event as part of its capacity-building activities in partnership with the European Commission and the Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States under the so-called FlagPort WACAF Project. Project manager William Azuh is coordinating IMO’s capacity-building efforts in Liberia.
