The 2nd Meeting of the LP Intersessional Legal and Related Issues Working Group on Ocean Fertilization was convened at IMO Headquarters, London, from 1 to 5 March 2010.

The 33rd meeting of the Scientific Group under the London Convention and the 4th meeting of the Scientific Group under the London Protocol was planned for 19-23 April 2010 at IMO Headquarters in London. The meeting was cancelled due to disruptions to air travel following the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland and was replaced by an extraordinary session held in at the Westminster Conference Centre in London from 7 to 8 October 2010 under the Chairmanship of Dr. Chris Vivian (UK).
